Important Dates and Timeline
STS 2026 is planned as an online challenge hosted on Codabench, with the challenge community meeting during MICCAI 2026 in Abu Dhabi. The table below follows the timetable in the official 2026 challenge design document.

| August 1, 2026 | Final submission deadline | Final test submissions close. |
| August 15, 2026 | Results announcement and workshop invitations | Top teams are announced and invited to the STS 2026 satellite event. |
| October 4 and 8, 2026 | MICCAI 2026 satellite events | Satellite event window for challenge-related activities. |
| October 5-7, 2026 | MICCAI 2026 main conference | Main conference dates in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. |
