The challenge combines expertise from engineering, oral radiology, periodontology and clinical dental workflows to support a real-world benchmark for metal-artifact-aware segmentation and registration.
Clinical team responsibilities include selecting cases across mild, moderate and severe artifact levels, validating segmentation masks in artifact-obscured regions with a human-in-the-loop protocol, and assessing the clinical utility of IOS-CBCT registration accuracy.
